A framework agreement may consist of some, or perhaps all, of the following services which we provide :-
- Technical support for the local area network, file servers and gateways and all end-user PC and terminal equipment listed in the hardware inventory, including printers and plotters.
- Support of end-user software. We will resolve configuration problems with software or liaise with the software supplier for problems which require vendor support.
- Ensure the availability of the email service to transport email between registered users.
- Provide advice to users on good practice such as back up and archiving of data, software virus scanning etc.
- Liaison with external circuit and service providers to diagnose and rectify problems.
- Advice and assistance for system management and administration of file servers and gateways including performance tuning, monitoring disk space utilisation, managing print queues, etc.
- Assistance and advice on all standard desktop software i.e. MS Office, MS Exchange/ Outlook and Internet.
- Assistance with provision of technical specifications and sourcing of new computer and communications hardware and software.
- PC diagnostics, service and repairs
